joins us now with the details you'll see --- only on eyewitness news. the source of the pictures tells target 12, the conditions your about to see have existed at the providence va for several years

a number of the images show what appears to be blood and human tissue in a stair well, and mouse droppings in the hospital. we're told this is a picture from a room, where work is being conducted above the drop

ceiling. a sheet of plastic is drooping over an exam chair. another picture shows what we're told is a collection of caked on grime on the floor. and this is a wide shot of an

exam room...again with a dirty floor. patients and v a employees who've contacted us blame construction projects, underway outside of the hospital for dust and dirt inside the

facilty. pictures show collections of dust on the floor near a door. . . and more dust is shown on computers in the hospital. target 12 sent these pictures to medical center's public information

officer who cited an ongoing lawsuit filed by a medical center doctor and technician who allege dust and air quality has caused health issues for them. winfield daneilson said...."we cannot provide comment regarding

the photos you provided because they are part of pending litigation." but the source of the pictures tells us the images were shot recently, and are not part of the lawsuit. a screen shot of a question and

answer session between hospital staff and the administration...blames the cleanliness issues on ...a larger than normal turnover of housekeeping staff... the email goes on to say the medical center has recently ...filled

over 15 vacant. . .positions. the source of the pictures and lawsuit also claim the hospital is infested with mice. target 12 is in the process of obtaining pest control records from the v---a and we hope to have
