hey, camera marker! aw, it's such an intriguing-- go! rocky horror picture showis very meaningful to me. we really wanted thereto be great reason to do rocky horror again. we've been trying foryears to do something. we had many scripts, andmany tries, and really never felt secure in frank-n-furter.
when you've got lou adlerthere in your corner, and you're able to go outand bring in laverne cox-- when we found laverne,we thought, now we have a reason to do this. she's just sensational,and no one's going to compare her to tim. it's a totallydifferent ballgame. surrounding her is anensemble including tim curry. it was just trulythrilling, and humbling.
kenny's vision isabout really honoring the intention of what richardo'brien originally wrote. the sort of homageto old hollywood, and the camp, and the glamor. and also, we have 40years of a history of this film thathas existed because of amazing, amazing bands. we've taken thingsa little further, and made them a littlebigger, but always keeping
in mind where it came from. kenny hopes to have ourre-imagining be a tribute, really, to those fans. the fans of rockyhorror picture show will find that they'rea part of this. so we're rolling up our sleeves,and we're going to do something that hopefully willbe perceived as unique and special, definitelyfun, and for sure rock and roll.
